Social & SEO

Routes: ?tab=social and ?tab=seo · Permission: Manage Store Settings

1. What these two sections cover

Two small sections that both control how the store appears outside itself — in a search result, in a social post, and in an analytics tool.

SectionAnswers
Social LinksWhere do our social profiles live?
SEO & AnalyticsHow do we appear in search, and who is measuring?

2. Where they reach

The link-preview image is not here

It is Social Share Image on Branding. This section holds the profile links, not the image a shared link renders with — a distinction that costs people time.

3. The sections

Figure 2 — SEO & Analytics.

4. Field reference

FieldSectionNotes
Social linksSocialProfile URLs, surfaced in the storefront chrome
Global Meta TitleSEOThe default title for storefront pages
Global Meta DescriptionSEOThe default description
Google Analytics IDSEOMeasurement ID
Facebook Pixel IDSEOPixel ID
"Global" means default, not fixed

A page authored in Page Builder Studio has its own SEO fields, and those win for that page. These two are the fallback for pages that do not set their own.

5. The admin contract

PrerequisiteWithout it
Manage Store SettingsRead-only
A published storefrontNothing to index
Analytics accountsThe ID fields have nothing to point at

6. Downstream

Meta fields reach search engines and the browser tab; the analytics IDs inject their tags into the storefront; social links render in the storefront chrome.

7. Don't confuse this with…
